What's it all about?
Kathryn used to be the owner/operator of a travel company called "The World Traveller" which specialized in Central and Southeast Asia, Northern Africa, the Middle East and the Trans-Caucasus regions. However, diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2002 put an end to all that running when she was faced with a rather harsh medical treatment program. As with every cancer patient, Kathryn had to pull a rabbit out of her hat to re-invent her life when she transistion to a "suvivor"....so many endless possibilities to think about surely can make a girls head spin!.
Kathryn, determined never to be undone by past experiences, decided to start her journey by walking. First, it was simply around the neightborhood. Then it was daily walks at Torrey Pines State Park. Little by little the fog lifted and she could see the light at the end of the tunnel. She continues her march onward today.
It has been six years since diagnosis and Kathryn is in a real great spot in her life. "Living in the moment", she resides in Encintas with her two cats Alex and Izabella. With a plethoria of hobbies to keep her busy, she is also pursuing a online Certification in Web Design at Miracoasta College.
